  • November 19, 2018 Dear GES Families:It was wonderful to see so many loved ones for our luncheon on Thursday. A huge thank you to all the volunteers that helped set up the tables and to our wonderful kitchen staff that made such a delicious meal.  Our school is about community, and all of you make this a wonderful place for our learners.Our school district is currently developing its Strategic Plan and would love to have your ideas and opinions about what visions you have for the future of our school.   • November 13, 2018 Dear GES Families:I hope you are enjoying this Veteran’s Day weekend. Thank you to all the veterans for their service. It was wonderful to see the learners sharing their goals and academic achievements with their families on Friday during learner led conferences.  The staff and learners were excited to welcome families into GES and discuss their progress and goals.   • November 5, 2018 Dear GES Families:I hope everyone had a great weekend. You know when we have had too much rain when there are ducks on our playground instead of children.It looks like there is more rain coming this week :(Thank you to all the families that came out for our Enchanted Forest Family Fun night. It was a blast making woodland crafts, dancing, and checking out the books at the book fair.   • October 22, 2018 Dear GES Families:Over the past few weeks the GES learners have been working with our resident artist Lesley Smith a world-class ventriloquist, puppeteer and  singer/songwriter who has decades of experience working in schools and with organizations to inspire and educate on critical life and social skills.   Through art, technology, music, storytelling and dance our learners have been working to share their perspectives on “Loving Our Backyard.”  This residency has and will celebrate Gilford through the lens of history, culture, arts, environment, values and relationships.Our Artist in Residence Showcase(s) will be held on Friday, October 26th at 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM.  Please see the attached flyer for details of each performance. Important Reminders ...
