Dear GES Families:

I hope you are all looking forward to our Spring break coming up next week.

Here are a few announcements about upcoming events:

• Our Day of Caring is set for this Friday. The learners will all be caring for different members of our community.  If your child is working outdoors, please have them dress appropriately.

Day of Caring Events:

K-1 students are writing senior citizens/GHS seniors letters 

2nd grade - weeding the gardens -- We have some rakes, 

3rd grade - trail maintenance/trash pick up

4th grade - wash Gilford fire trucks, Gilford PD cars, sugar shack buckets and cleaning the sugar shack

• Lost and Found:We will be cleaning out our Lost & Found located in the main foyer this April Vacation. If you think your learner has lost something, please be sure to check it out before Friday, April 22nd. All leftover items will be washed and donated. 

• Summer Camp Scholarships are available. Check out the attachment.

• Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up on May 2nd-May 6th. We need your help. Check out this sign up sheet.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation. I will be traveling to Canton, OH for the Going the Distance to Outrun Cancer Marathon at the Football Hall of Fame.  Have a great week!
